Dan was delighted to perform for the second year in a row at a Christmas Concert organised by Paul Eaton and members of ‘Kinsale Folk Group’ at Kinsale Parish Church, the Church of St. John the Baptist on Friday 20th Dec 2013. Dan really enjoyed performing in the beautiful scenic seaside village of Union Hall in West Cork for their Annual Carol Service was held at St. Brigid’s Church in Union Hall on Tuesday 17th December 2013. Dan performed during the summer of 2013 at Sunday Mass in Union Hall which was very well received and was asked by popular demand to perform there for Christmas. Dan performed at the now annual ‘Carols by Candlelight’ Concert at the enchanting Fota House on Sunday 8th December 2013. He performs solo and as part of ‘The Carrigaline Choral Group’ every year at this concert and they were joined this year by ‘Voci Nuove’ Chamber Choir of which Dan is also a member. Claire Heffernan, a member of ‘Voci Nuove’ performed by playing the harp and also sung beautifully! It was a wonderful night of entertainment and the audience did go home very happy...

Dan travelled to the wonderful city of Vienna to perform as part of the Chamber Choir ‘Voci Nuove’ from Wednesday 27th November to Monday 2nd December 2013! The accomplished chamber choir were invited to perform there by a mixed choir in Vienna called ‘Amerlingcor’. ‘Voci Nuove’ had many rehearsals with ‘Amerlingcor’ while in Vienna and performed at a number of engagements over there, fitting in nicely with the Christmas Markets which were taking place there at that time. Dan was delighted to be asked to perform at an Organ Re-dedication Concert at St. Mary’s Parish Church in Buttevant in North Cork on Friday 22nd November 2013. There is a beautiful Pipe Organ in this historic church which has been recently restored by Padraig O’ Donovan, a Cork based Organ Builder.
