Busy year of Weddings so far for 2014!
It has been a very busy year so far in 2014 for Dan, especially in Wedding Church Ceremonies! Dan enjoys performing at weddings as they are always different by meeting new people and performing in new places. Dan performed recently at the Wedding Ceremony of the lovely Nicola and Colum at St. Mary’s Church in Feakle in Co. Clare. Dan really enjoyed performing at a concert held in aid of ‘Touched by Cancer’ at Carrigaline Court Hotel on Sunday 23rd March 2014! Other artists on the night included the wonderful Cara O’ Sullivan and Linda Kenny and also Carrigaline Singers! The compere on the night was the wonderful Elmarie Mawe, presenter of ‘The Arts House’ on 96fm every Sunday morning. The concert was a sell out and raised over €6,000 for the charity ‘Touched by Cancer’ which helps with refurbishing facilities for cancer...

Dan enjoyed performing recently at a Ball at Inchydoney Lodge & Spa in Clonakilty, West Cork entitled ‘An Evening in Vienna’. Dan performed well known pieces by Franz Lehar to entertain the guests such as ‘Dein ist Mein Ganzes Herz’, ‘Lip to Lip’ and ‘The Merry Widow Waltz’ along with other favourites such as ‘Vienna City of My Dreams’. Dan enjoyed performing at a ‘Spring Serenade’ Concert at East Cork Golf Club, Midleton, Cork on Friday 7th February 2014. The concert was presented by Betty Moloney, well known in music circles. Other artists on the night included Deborah Desmond (Mezzo Soprano), ‘The Arianne Singers’ lead by Anne Anderson and ‘The Academy Instrumental Trio’. The accompanist on the night was Betty Moloney. Dan had a stand at the recent Fota Island Resort Wedding Fair on Sunday 26th January 2014. It was a really busy fair and a huge range of stands to be seen there showcasing every wedding supplier you could think of. Dan was very happy with the attendance there and got to speak with many very interesting couples, as well as meeting some new wedding suppliers that he had not met before!

Dan showcased at a very successful two day Wedding Show on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th January 2014. It was the Southern Brides Munster Wedding Show at Silver Springs Moran Hotel, Cork between 12 noon and 6pm both days. It was an extremely busy two days where Dan had lots of inquiries and bookings and met a lot of very interesting couples along the way! Dan thoroughly enjoyed performing both solo and as a member of The Carrigaline Choral Group at a concert for the second year in a row at the beautiful, historic St. Paul’s Church in Cahir, Co. Tipperary. 2012 was the first time performing at this concert and due to the success of it, it was held again in 2013. The church there was packed and full of atmosphere on the lead up to Christmas.
