As many of you may know, Dan has been busy the last few months recording and finishing off his debut album entitled ‘Stranger in Paradise’.
Dan released his much awaited album on Thursday 24th November and officially launched the album by having a Free Concert Album Launch at in Cork City on Saturday 26th November 2016 at 8pm!
The night was a huge success with a huge audience of well over 3oo people! There were no seats left at The Deane-Woodward Suite in The Kingsley Hotel which was a great sign to all of how excited people were about the event!
It was a wonderful evening consisting of a concert. Dan performed a mixture of pieces from his new album and also some Christmas pieces to entertain the large audience. Also, there were other supporting acts on the night which were a lovely treat for all who were there. These acts included Caroline Fraher who performed ‘The Prayer’ with Dan on his album and performed this live on the night also, The Tracton Harp Ensemble, The Carrigaline Choral Group and Mary McCague and Maria Mulcahy playing duets in piano and flute.
The wonderful MC on the night was Kevin Goggin who kept all of the people entertained and kept the evening flowing.
The formal part of the evening consisted of an interview which Kevin did with Dan and gifts of a copy of the album were handed out to each person who performed with Dan on his album and also those who performed with him on the night.
Dan was totally overwhelmed by the large turnout and thanked everyone from the bottom of his heart for their huge support!
